Easily Destroy Your MLM Business With These Eight Ways

Most of the MLM business tips, guides and MLM downline building advice are completely useless. Despite the fact that you'll find some MLM success coaches teaching this, the information just helps push a person into failure. Identify the things you shouldn't be doing because they're definitely killing your multi level marketing business.

Handing out Business Cards and Other Items:
This is another pretty standard piece of advice that companies like to give out. What they want you to do is buy their promotional products like brochures, DVDs and even audios. They make their money when you buy this stuff. You're the one giving it away with the hopes that you might get a few downlines. You're inevitably going to spend more money buying promo stuffs than from what you'll get with downline recruitment.

Have Home Parties:
All you have to do is have a party and you'll make some money. It does sound professional when you meet up with people and network. It's true that it can work, but it's something that takes a lot of time and a lot of work. It isn't something that is going to make you easy money or expand your MLM business fast.

The Product Sells Itself:
This is probably about one of the most used clichés in selling. If it really was that easy to sell, than they wouldn't need network marketers doing it for them. This just wouldn't be needed. They would just open up a store and people would come in to buy. Logically that's the way it would be. The fact is that products don't sell themselves. They just use it as a way of trapping you into buying it and let you worry about selling it.

Three Way Calling:
This is a very popular way to operate in the multi level marketing business, but it's actually quite counterproductive. When it comes to how you grow your MLM business, you have to be the expert. It just comes off so unprofessional when you have to have a three way call with someone else on the line that is ranking higher on the hierarchy. That just makes you look bad.

Running Around Meeting Prospective Downlines:
There are people who are literally burning all their gas away meeting up with people that might become a downline in your MLM network. Most people get into MLM because it is a home business, but it sort of defeats the purpose when you have to run around all the time desperately trying to find someone. You'll find that most people will just use you for a free lunch.

Using Friends and Family for your list:
I think it is pretty standard advice to go after your friends and family first. There is a specific reason why MLM companies will teach you to do this. They want you to build a list, which invariable builds their own list. You might get a few friends to be added as downlines, but that's not going to make you much money. This type of method isn't a solid way to expand your network marketing business.

If you get three friends and if they get three friends…:
This is the approach that is used to help recruit downlines. If you get a few people to be associates and they get a few people, who go out and get even more people - well, you'd be rich. It sounds nice, but it doesn't work that way.

Just share your MLM website address:
They like to tell you that you just need to put a website online, tell a few people and you'll be making money. All of us truly wish it was that simple, but it is not. Getting a lot of people to your website requires a much different approach.

Recruiting MLM Downlines Ideas & Tips

When it comes to running a successful Multi Level Marketing (MLM) business, you have to squeeze every hour that you can for maximum profit. All of us are busy and we have things that need to be done. We have jobs to go to and families to pay attention too. When you finally get a break at the end of the day, you want to be able to enjoy it. However, if you want to be successful with marketing, than you need to work at the end of the day.

The common question when it comes to downline sponsoring is "How can we sponsor many new people?". There is actually no secret, but it is definitely attitude, marketing to them and being professional. The right attitude attracts the right downlines to you. When talking to prospects, tell them what they need to hear. Don't lie, but present it in a way to get them on board. Lastly, just run your MLM business professionally, so that we can get referred to even MLM leads.

There are too many network marketers that come off like they need you really bad. Desperation reeks and you should never let them see you sweat. It doesn't matter how good your MLM network is, they're never going to see how great it is unless you can sell it. If you present the wrong attitude or market the program incorrectly to their needs, you're basically shooting yourself in the foot. I have a friend that knows products inside and out, but he doesn't understand marketing. Marketing isn't about you, but it's about the customer. What's in it for the prospect? That's the question you should always be asking. A new prospective mlm downline isn't going to join you unless you flip a switch inside them that says "wow, this could really be good for me".

Rule 1: Have the Right Attitude and Market to a Person's Needs!

The next thing that you need to do is say things that your prospect wants to hear. Most markets will just start rambling off the benefits of joining the company and the prospect is thinking of other things. It's like a telemarketer trying to sell you life insurance while they ramble on about how great it is, even though you don't care.

Listing the benefits is great, but it has to be the benefits for the prospect. What are they going to get out of it? We are very comfort oriented animals. We're not going to change unless it is going to give us something better. Figuring this out can often be the hardest task for a lot of network marketers, but all you have to do is be human. Ask them about their life and family. How long has he been married? What does he do for a living? What are his hobbies outside of work? You don't have to start sponsoring right away. You can get to know them and learn to help them with what you're selling.

Often you'll find that they wish they had more time for themselves or they're not happy with their current income. You can always market to them in the future. Make friends with people and they'll be your most loyal followers.

Rule 2: Take an Interest in your Prospect, Rather Than trying to recruit them.

The last rule is operating your MLM business as a professional. You have to remember that people aren't necessarily interested the first time you talk to them. You'll find that a lot of people will come out of the blue and call you a month later. This is why it is so important to be a friend first and a marketer second. When you treat a prospect with respect and dignity, instead of a paycheck, you'll get much further ahead in this business. Building a MLM business on referrals is done on business habits that enhance the relationship with your prospects. You need to be on time, be a man (or woman) of your word, finish what you started and be courteous.

By following these simple principles, you'll create the comfort and trust that a real prospect needs from you. They'll make sure that when they are interested, you'll be the first to be called.

Rule 3: Be professional, which means courteous, accountable and respectful to your prospects

All you have to do now is take the rules and apply them with the potential downlines.
